Install comps or sell them on the Bay?

Had some Alpine Type R Comps in my room for about a year, never got round to fitting them.

Would it be worth while to install them without an amp? Beacuse i dont have one :lol:

Or

Sell them on the bay and make what i can to put towards a better set of comps and an amp? + Save time taking my door cards off and wiring them up?

Would the headunit have enough power so they sounded semi-decent? At least better then the standard speakers?

You'd probably see little gain from upgrading the speakers, without upgrading the CD player, or using an amplifier mate. If you have upgraded the CD player, then sure nothing to lose, you don't have to use an amplifier but it will help.

Type R are good speakers too,

If you have got an aftermarket HU then i would definatly do it.

You can always upgrade and get an amp at a later date :thumbs:
