he does it by slowing down the shutter speed on his camera so any movment will be in the picture, it records the movment like a video but puts it all on 1 photo and a tripod is a must for those, kinda easy to do. . . what cam have you got??

I've got a Canon 400D, im a bit of a noob to this, guessing thats to do with the ISO speed? I have played around with that, but not seen any differences yet, is it the higher it is, the longer it will take to capture meaning it gets them sort of images?

To capture pix like that you'll need a low ISO 100 or 200 which ever your cam has. A tripod, and then if ur cam is like mine, set it to apperture mode and have an apperture of around 22 an it shud calculate a shutter speed automatically.
You'll get summit like this

How do I set my 400D to Aperture mode?
Not sure if anybody else feels this but if I set up my tripod and camera in a random place I'm always nervous that other people are standing there looking at me thinking what a geek or something similar. Anyone else like this?

I used to feel like that, but you get over it.
IIRC, I use the TV option on my camera for it. Either TV, or AV. It's the one where you can set the timer via the scrolling thing next to the button you press to take a picture.
Nice photo's. They beat my London pictures lol.
