I have noticed some minor paint swirls on my black corsa took it to a local valeters and got a quote for £100 to have it 3 stage machine polished,
Been on cleanyourcar.co.uk and found a porter cable on there for £205 + how ever much it would cost to deliver, is it worth me spending that much so that i could do it myself weekly or every other week or would it only need machining once?
Cheers
Pred

I've got a UDM (Ultimate Detailing Machine) and I did my car back in November and it's still swirl free. You just have to adapt your wash technique so that you dont swirl the paint up again (i.e. foam lance, 2 bucket method, grit guards, lambswool mitt, good quality microfibre drying towel)

what are you getting with the pc for £205?
A full paint correction should only be done a handful of times in the cars entire life. You could use it every few weeks to apply your wax if you so wished.
Might as well get a megs G220 now.
It's 240v so no messing about with transformers.
