ok had to start repairs on my car, as it kinda looks pretty bad and in a bad way now, smashed back end, (reversed into a car at work)
and front end kinda screwed, hit a curb pretty hard, PRETTY damn hard and ripped my splitter of! half of it...
ok most of us remember this thread? where i turn a pretty standardish astra into a clean modded astra!?
http://www.corsa-c.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=108703

http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/3971/photo079pp6.jpg
it went to this!
http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/6007/astrasmoothedsplitterij7.jpg
ripped of splitter, but didnt crack where i smoothed it in, just broke off as it was done properyl! (so people when bodyshops say "IT WILL CRACK" dont believe them, mine didint crack when i hit a curb, it broke of but didnt crack any of the filler around it..)
http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/310/rearsmashastradf6.jpg
smashed rear end, and broken tip of the spoiler!
any way couldnt be doing with driving around with half a splitter so i bonded the other half the splitter back on and screwed it in, drove round like this for a bit so the bond had time to properly harden!

well after that out of the way it was time to take ALL the damaged areas back to fibreglass, and remove all them small hair line cracks in the gel coating!
http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/8936/backtofibreglass2tn2.jpg
after getting the front and back bumpers and spiler back to fibreglass it was time to fibreglass matt them together and reinforced from the back as that would be a week point if i never... (and i did remove all the screws out of the front bumper. lol )
its messy stuff and time consuming, would be quicker if you use fibrefill but thats not good for stuff like this! so had to do it this way...
