I think next year we should all have a massive convey of C's going 2 run to the sun to newquay, then have a weekend of clubbing and drinking! - would b such a laugh IMO.

Just to let you all know you'll need shed loads of water bombs and water pistols if you do go down. And be careful cos this year saw a Mondeo that got sprayed with paint stripper. Speak to Corsa_babe nearer the time cos there was a big meet down there with all the local modified cars and some of the VW's. But would be good to get all the C's down to Cornwall would be a bit of a trek for some though

only problem is - isnureance, and u have to be 21 to drive on the continent :| i'd love to do it

ah well im twenty one in 368 (I think) days, so we'll go sometime in july

oh and im up for run to sun in newquay (so long as we can go to st ives one day LOL :P )

haha it is for me, i'll be 20 in october, so won't be old enough to drive and i dunno if my insurance would cover me either! should do tho, since its any driver, but i'd probs have to pay a lil more

Well good idea, Went this year and it was the best time ever!! :lol:

Im up for it, Even tho its basicly a year away! Wonder how many pages this will run up :P

whats this about having to be 21 to drive on the continent?

Here (http://www.exchangeandmart.co.uk/motoring/magazine/firstgear/resources/drivingabroad.shtm) it says you only have to be 21 if the vehicle has over 9 seats.

From what I can see the age limit is 18 unless your in Germany where it is 17.

Or is there something i'm missing :?

I went this year, was a great crack- we could spend a whole week down there as no point coming back on bank hoilday monday - its a nightmare! we could all spent 3-4 days together, then those he wanted a few days with the other 1/2 could go some where abit more low key maybe? then you get abit of an actual hoilday to ;)

And think Sicky is right about being 21 - im 18 so im boned for a while lol :p

I'm up for ti next year, although you DO have to be VERY, VERY careful down there, alot of idiots around down there, and loads of drunks, i mean LOADS so if you wanna cruise at night you do need to be very alert and not prat around too much!

YEAH all come to newquay!!!! be a top trip and weekend! loads of clubs, the beach!! and i wouldnt have to travel more than 30 mins :lol:

lol, i didnt mean the locals Corsa_Babe, I just mean in general some people get too hyped up and do stupid things, espically after a few drinks - and when your 'playing' in a car with hundred of people around things can get outta hand quickly.

Is a good laugh though, everyone to newquay next year then! :p

the german autobahns would be a great laugh, but i only have a 1.2 so i'd be left behind, just infront of all you with 1.0 comforts, lol. but miles behind all you in 1.4 and 1.8's lol. :x

I wouldn't mind going, also, i drove in france and germany, fully insured, when I was 18! and i have a 1.4 corsa b... so I'll be behind the 1 litre c's! pmsl!
