iv got a set of infinity 6x9's wired through my 4 channel amp, everytime i switch tghe ignition on i get a buzzing noise from them. i turned down the gain on the amp which got rid of the noise, but this then also reduced the output from the 6x9's. is there ne way to get round this? help pls!!!

u need to turn down the amp quite a bit then m8. thts quite a big amp isthat rms output. by the sounds of it your just putting too much power through them. get a sub and u wont even notice u have 6x9's. components are a better solution
my bros got a simliar set up in his car and he has fried the 6x9's a few times and had to replace them, ur not killing them slowly are you? xxx
