Does anyone know if there's a permanent live in or near the boot?

If so what colour is this cable?

Have you got a multimeter ? If so have a poke around and check

I've sorted it now! Thank you anyway!

Used the ignition lead from the rear wiper instead (purple/black).

To answer ur Q. No im sure there isnt a live near the boot.
