I want to get my steering controls back working again, there need to buy a suitable interface for my headunit.

I have a 2004 Corsa (Pre-Canbus) and an Alpine CDA-9887R. Also is it possible to get the display working to display track number etc. again?

you can have them all working again but you have to buy the adapters for them both

thats canbus ^^^^^^^^^ stuff. As i have posted on here loads of times before your need....................

mfd is a nice touch but not that important tbh

Autoleads.

PC99-X06 and PC99-ALP - £30 EBAY

Alpine (controls only)

KCE-870B and KWE-871E - £45-60 QUID

Alpine (display and controls)

KCE-970B and KWE-972 - £60-90 QUID

ps. you don't need any iso adapters just swap the red an yellows over so the hu holds the memory.

cheapest price on ebay £30 delivered used them a few times and got stuff in 1-2 days (3.50 postage combined)

halfraulds want just under rrp £38 quid iirc normally an order in job

Just to confirm I have a choice of 3, Autoleads (just controls), Alpine (just controls) and Alpine (controls and display)?

I had a CDR2005 before my Alpine headunit went in.

I'm just looking for the Alpine ones with display but not having much luck with my usual places I buy from. (Car Audio Security and Car Audio Direct).

I am looking to change my radio to a JVC Headunit.

Are these adaptors sufficient to have display and steering controls?

Is this a canubus adaptor as I had a crappy cdr 2005 (now in the skip). I have no idea!

cdr-2005 is pre canbus (blue plug). steering controls if your hu supports it your need an autoleads PC99-X06 and a PC99-JVC there 30 quid off ebay or 40 ish from halfraulds.

JVC's dont support the oem display (mfd)

I emailed Autoleads Tech support as I am doing a similar install.

A CDA-9886R to a 2002 Corsa.

Autoleads do not support the latest Alpine units due to a protocol change in the way the units communicate.

I would be carefull buying autoleads kit unless you can return it if it doesn't work out for you.

Alpine leads for the KCE-870B + KWE-871E work out at the £70 mark :( depending where you go.

its hit and miss with the alpines most are ok with autoleads adapters (problem seems to be with the ipod only units) (idx-xxx).

rrp on the leads are 70 quid got a set for an astra i fitted a hu in for £52.90 delivered and another corsa i put a hu in with the KCE-970 and KWE-972 what were 65 quid

i have also used celsus leads with out issues with 07/08 alpine models
