How the bloddy hell do ya wire them in? There is no wires by the look of things!!

Yes I know they are better in the Facelift but I'm gunna get them aligned and smoke the front of the headlight a bit so they don't blind everyone :)

smoking the front headlight will not prevent them from blinding people.

hids only work in projector headlights

prefacelift will make the light scatter and poo!

But althought you can buy hids that are designed for non-projector! e.g pre facelifts!

corect me if im wrong

I had them in my Astra and they were perfectly fine. There are a lot of cars that have them in non-projectors. Lexus's, Volvo's, Civic's, Seat's. It can be done they just have to be alligned correctly.

Just need to know how I'd wire them in because there is no wires to them. The Astra had cables from the bulbs.

agreed with ktlstar it will not work fitting HID's in Prefacelifts you will simply look like someone has strapped a lighthouse to the front of your car

The Only Reason I don't won't facelifts is because they are pretty ugly in my opinion. If the Main and the Indicator where the other way round it wouldn't be so bad!!

There is also the possibility to buy H7R bulbs which have deflectors on them.

Not really. Hardly made any difference.

I've got Xenons in my Corsa (projector) and Saab (reflector).
Both kits supplied and fitted by Zensis (near Cardiff) for a shade under £110.
The even supply some kit that stops bulb warnings on certain cars for a little extra.

And what a difference they make to night-time driving.
Also as for blinding other drivers - no.
Both kits fitted were aligned, levelled, the electric levelling tested and taken for a quick drive to ensure they don't fry the eyes of on-coming traffic/pedestrians !!
I've recommended quite a few people there and everyone has been happy.

Personally, I'd rather pay for the kit, see the company fit them and know they are gauranteed for x number of years and if anything goes wrong, I can go and see someone face-to-face to discuss it - not a big fan of buying delicate stuff like that from eBay.

On my prefacelift headlights the dipped beam bulb comes out with the cap so i can't see i way of getting them to fit they only fit on the main beam. But i think there might be 2 versions of the prefacelift headlights as i've seen them with the cap on the back of the dipped the same as the main beam.

I haven't seen any headlights were the bulb comes out with or attached to the cap ?
Are the connectors for the bulb moulded onto the cap ??

PS And a quick correction to my previous post above.
Zensis supplied both kits for a shade under £110 each, and I fitted them myself.
They do provide a fitting service for £169 which a lot of people use, especially if it's bumper-off job.
