Ok, I've decided to swap the head unit into my new 1.8 now. Well i started taking all the wiring out yesterday, and i'm hoping to get it all installed again before the match starts at 3. But last night was when I realised its been well over a year since I last installed this thing into the last car, and all the wiring looks like this...

I've more or less figured out where everything goes now apart from the two adapters for the MFD and steering controls.. I seem to have like too many plugs left over... :\

So i'm gonna do it the only way I know how. Shove it all in and see where it will fit. But if that fails I'll be back on here in a couple hours to see if anybody recognises the plugs :salute:

iirc pioneeruse the ip bus plug for there adapters. that just plugs into the car loom 20 pin block on the pre-can for the display whats 3-4 wires) and the steering control are in the bottom power block (1 wire)

had a few more cables than that in my corsa B as i had telemute leads with the bluetooth and audio controls (diy mod) as well as 4 set of rcas and a audio processor (all apine) dab unit and a tid board in there aswell

i got in my car and it was like a sauna, so ive left it til after united. im just bout to go have a go with it now. theres the dab box to hook up there as well and the telemute, but theyre accounted for, bit stupid really cos im sure i unhooked one of the plugs im not sure about when i was taking it out and didnt really take notice of what it came out of. i'll take some pics of the ones left over in a mo.
