As most of you know thanks to Ryan i have a great setup:

500/1 - W6
300/4 - ZRs

now the problems of trying to do it myself. cone cutter for running 0awg under bonnet... sod that!

tried wiring up the amps properly and nothing worked :( i know the sub works from other amps. and i know the amps work from using them at coops' place. but they no longer want to work for me! :(

and now just to make everything better..... i re did the wires behind the HU as they were in a terminal block (crap) so i got crimping away. all sorted and good. plug HU in... sounds bril as havent used it in a month! then i fit the trim in and then the cage... slot HU back in and WEHEY just my luck! nothing from the HU. not even turning on!

LOVE ICE lol

anyone else had as much crap? prob just me!

rant over!

car going to LM audio on thurs (8days) wohoo they can have a play with the devil car!

(due to this i cant buy paint for my front bumper just for all those that keep asking when im gona do it!)

:D craig

I hope LM audio get it sorted for you mate. Its nice when it works first time round but with the kind of kit you have I can bet it'll definitely be worth the wait!

ICE is a temperamental business. You have to know your kit and your theory inside out to get it perfect.

Ied have to disagree tbh, its a matter of being through (spelling?!) and doing things step by step. You have to be logical and also careful!

If you get any problems just simply problem solve step by step eliminating parts as you go along.

When i first started i managed to fit a sub and amp first time without any problems and i hardly knew anything!

Coops that's kind of what I meant, although I've not said it clearly enough. You can do it without any knowledge, but you have to know how to be systematic - what I meant when I said theory. As for my comment about knowing your kit, you can be lucky and not blow stuff when you don't know it's limits, or you could be unlucky like so many out there and start up an amp without a load, or dead short it, or fry an RCA track.

Fair enough, everyone has their own methods and techniques, its just a matter of building upon them :)

tbh, i hate ice. my jbl is still playing up and im just trying to eliminate stuff before biting bullets and buying a better battery.
