Right, i have got a bare end on the end of my aerial cable behind my headunit, i went into halford and the bloke said that i will just have to run a new aerial in.

does anyone know if there is a way of joining something onto it or if the cable has joins so that i dont have to replace the whole cable.

And if i do have to replace the whole cable, anyone know how hard it is?

Help would be much appreciated

you should be able to head to b+q, get a female aerial socket, and then just buy an arial adapter that'd fit your head unit ?

So if i buy one of them do they just sort of clamp onto the bare wire end?

i know what to do once that is on its just wasnt sure about the whole clamping thing, the bloke at halfords was a jobsworth!

yep the coax has had an outer braid and an inner core the inner core goes to the pin and the braid is clamped/crimped
