just wondering whats the best out on the market to put my roofrails and trim nice and black and last a long time as my megs black trim detailer dont last a long time to be honest!!

Without a doubt it is Autoglym Bumper Care.

Cheapest price ive seen is about £5 delivered from ebay where i got mine from.

It is a green gel which is easy to apply evenly.

Used on my irmy grille and roof rails last weekend and its brought the black right back. Still the same this week. Gets rid of the polish marks nicely (roof rails) and water beads off instantly on the irmy grille.

I have used vasaline in the past, all the black came up a treat and did last a fair old time.

Im not sure what chemicals are in vasaline but would check before using on your roof rails etc

Autoglym bumper Black for meeasy to use and as its an aerosol, you can spray it on the plastic wheel arch protectors to give an even better finish

Although i must agree Autoglym Bumper Care is very good

I have used vasaline in the past, all the black came up a treat and did last a fair old time.

Im not sure what chemicals are in vasaline but would check before using on your roof rails etc

i have other uses for that ;)

you know, it sounds stupid, but try megs high gloss tyre shine, the purple bottle, smells dead nice.

all the black on my car is covered in it (i polished the windows and got some on the black plastic between the windscreen and the bonnet and it turned it white) it gets rid of all your white marks, just rub it in well. leaves the black nice and clean and shinty looking. and doesnt look like shiny shiny just healthy clean plastic. just a rag and some of this works well, its super on tyres too.
