do you have to make any adjustments or do these just replace the exsisting discs? baring in mind mines a 1.2 but i wouldnt mind having better brakes, i find there really shabby!
just a straight replacement for standard parts mate.

i almost bought some of these but kept hearing bad things that put me off, and it was something stupid like 340 quid for front and rear! I posted asking how ebc ones performed so finally someone has them to say once you have bedded them in.
ill give em a week then try them out. ill post back up how they are.

no probs. cheers:doublethumbs:
Ive had mine a while, they are much better than standard ones you can hear the grooves when you brake they work best with a bit of heat in them as well ive found
I used to have these and did a few track days in them. Much better than standard, and didn't fade anywhere near as quick.
But.. like mentioned when cold I thought they weren't as good as standard, but after a couple of miles they were miles better!!
Also I noticed that they had a lot less dust coming from the pads, found the rear wheels had more brake dust build up on them than the front!

yeh i wasnt sure what to get so i ended up getting mintex discs and pads for front and rear off ebay ( 110 quid all in :P) and getting my boss of my weekend job to groove them for me. still to get them on though :(
are these ebc ones front and rear , i want front and rear for mine ? ..... are they the same size as the the oringonal brakes ?
i just got front for mine. original rear discs are still goin strong after 48k so that goes to show how much braking effort the rear puts in.
they are straight swap for standard parts. dont need to change anything to fit them.
still not found out if these are any good or not. been driving a customers 52 plate zafira all week. fed up with it and want ma corsa back!

ahrite kool, i want ya to have a wee look at my car, think i got an oil leek somewhere and i think my turbo's fooked, vaux think its fine but i disagree lol makes a wierd rattling noise if say in 3rd, 4th or 5th gear and under 1.5k rpm and put the foot down when the turbo comes in between 1.5k - 2krpm, dunno if you'll be able to notice if theres something wrong with it or if its normal lol

yeh but is only just when the turbo starts to spool up, after 2krpm it sounds fine, but when in 3rd gear + and at 1.5krpm and put the foot down it just makes a wierd sorta irratic slow rattling noise until 2krpm then goes away :\

ye thats because it has to boost harder to accelerate from low RMP in a higher gear..
Mine does it a little in 3rd.. a fair bit in 4th and alot in 5th.. :\
My dad's described it as angry chickmonks under my bonnet before now :|
