When I decided i wanted a private plate I spent weeks looking for something resembling my name and couldnt come close... so basically i ended up with this...

K being my first initial and 7 being my lucky number and the rest should be pretty self explanatory... defo turns heads and its only been on the car since last night lol!

Well after havin it sat on redemtion for almost half a year i finally got around to driving down to the "nearest" dvla office and transferring it to the car... heres a quick pic to give you an idea... comments n feedback are encouraged and most definately appreciated!

If it weren't for the dodgy screw cap that could clearly never be in it's current position for any reason other to obscure your plate/change what it says I'd say it looked good.

But alas.... it doesn't :(

Looks OK, but can't exactly take it off and put it on another car when you sell the corsa. Unless you just have corsa's your whole life. :look:

I think it looks ok... but Im betting that you definately will get pulled for it... when I first got my plate they pulled me for having the spacing closer than usual...

Liam

that's worse than having the spacing too close so you're screwed bud.

if they stop you ur get done for deception because you have purpously changed the reg to something else. it mite be alittle more than just a fine and also every copper should stop you if they see it.

so u selling the plate with the car

little harsh mate, just cause he arranged it to sat corsa - alright its not the best plate in the world and the back lets it down. . .while he gets away with it i think its cool

they have the right to take the reg mark of you aswell.

fcuk that. . . they dont. how can they have the right to take your reg away from you . . . your standard plate might say something with a little clever placing of screws they cant take that away from you can they?!?

1st bit: He asked for my opinion so he got it, straight to the point.

2nd bit: Cherished number plates (personal/private/what ever else you call them) are in their own class. So have a couple of rules and regulations that go with them. Like taking the mark off you if you display it illegally.

seems like a stupid mod to me. i cant understand why people buy private plates with the car on them. when you change your car which you eventually will, youl have to sell it cos it'l look fuukin stupid on any other car.

Yeh I agree, I was looking for one to do with my car previously then realised this, so tried to get something to resemble my name, at least I can just transfer that one without it looking out of place.
