was messing about today in work, bored, was just after carving out a length of moulding to guild for one of my artists and the wood shavings looked cool so here....

cool pics, what have you done to the paper clip pic to make it look like that? just added a darkened bit around the outside?

yeah i just liked the way the light hit them, the paperclip was a strange composition

cool pics, what have you done to the paper clip pic to make it look like that? just added a darkened bit around the outside?

just edited on ps mate, a little play with contrast and desaturated it. i used lighting effects to get the darkend bit around the outside, then just applied a black border

thanks mate, im right into strange and abstract things at the moment, plus really getting into this photography stuff. Sold my very fist photograph yesterday as well. was well chuffed :D

I think I saw a picture you took of a fire recently, I actually want that for my wall that's pretty cool.

sold it through work mate, im a picture framer, but we do sell the odd thing
