hi tryin 2 fit a boot popper with my smooth boot handle. And having a bit of trouble of where to fit the soleinoid in the boot lock area.

So any1 with a boot popper could you help me or show me pics of how yours are fitted.

i got a spring that makes it so it all opens.....

Theres various ways of doing it

but i'm for this:

Cut out the first lock (Safety lock thing) so when the boots popped it doesnt get stuck on latch

then fit the solonoid and get some metal bar and make sure it pushs the lock enough to pop it open, also wind of the boot rubbers a turn or so

its a botton to pop your boot from inside the car, has a little pic of a car and the boot open on it..

will take a pic if you want tonight...

Can you use the boot release system and handle from the facelift Meriva? They look the same as those fitted to the Corsa and have the electric button built in.
