You could buy that stuff and sell the box and get a build made.. Would look a bit ****e having them subs sat in a box in your car.. Need something to match the mental outside!

well the plan would be either
plan a
....a boot build in fibre glass 2 alpine subs and amp/s , dvd screens and possible xbox 360 in it aswell

plan b
a boot build in cream leather.....2 alpin subs and amp/s , dvd screens and possible xbox 360 in it aswell

Ryan

so that cream around the subs , dvd screens and the 360??

Ryan
04-06-2008, 12:17
same colour as that would look nice, im more into subtle installs that go with the flow and have a theme so id rather your 2nd idea and have it trimmed in leather, i think it'll look neater and more impressive tbh :)

h6lpo
04-06-2008, 12:21
....soo that ....maybe try get a griffin design of teh red on the boot build too :look:

aztec daz
04-06-2008, 12:26
i would retrim it in red and cream to match the seats.

fiberglass some mental shape in there, then cover it with the leather..

ohh and you know my response to the alpine deal :D

its the exact same as mines, only newer models

h6lpo
04-06-2008, 12:45

http://file041a.bebo.com/1/large/2008/06/04/11/2008601699a7933178587l.jpg

think a cream boot builld would be good ;)

Ryan
04-06-2008, 12:52
i think white/red to match your car and have it in the same theme, ie a diagonal cross between the red/white ;D

i dun sugest puttin a 360 in ther though movement even slightly = ruined disks lol i kno ruined my first GOW coz i knocked it slightly when it was on big goughe outta the disk al lthe way aorund = wouldnt play.

but i supose perfectly held and ventilated it would work but it does need a good foot around it for ventilation. also horizontal seems a better choice less movement ;;) jus thought id add so u kno what ur gettin into

I think the leather is a better idea 2bh.
The amount of work to get fibreglass nice for painting is huge.

h6lpo
18-06-2008, 23:47
what you think a should do sean
fibre glass under that parcel shelf or leather retrimeed?

seanmooney
18-06-2008, 23:55
if your gonna fibre glass i'd say to go the way b killer c did cause other wise your still gonna need a parcel shelf like, unless you use the lip that the parcel shelf sits on like... depends on your budget, if your gonna get it done it professionally like..

id say have a go at fibreglassing, its class hi, i love using it.. i done my sub myself in a couple of days...

h6lpo
18-06-2008, 23:57
say a wanted to keep the parcel shelf still in it....you think it woudl still look good?

seanmooney
19-06-2008, 00:29
yeah y not like.... go for it...

gfoneill
19-06-2008, 12:22
I think you should go for a fibreglass install, wont be cheap but it will really finish the car. What audio gear you goin for?

Andy

CrA!G
19-06-2008, 12:39
would also say fiberglass

why not look into a better install? alpine X or JL... something higher.

think to put budget stuff in the back of your C would let it down. after all the brill stuff you've done. wait (if funds cause to) and get a brill install. 1 sub or maybe 2 with amp. think fiberglass would be the way to go to give it that glossy/classy finish.

i prefer the leather retrim tbh mate. Would look amazing in white and red like the 1st install in them pics u showd. Looks more classy.

And as craig sed dont go budget with ur ice, u havent anything else so it would really let the car down.
