fli active sub problems.. help!

Wondering if anyone can help me.. Im sure i have wired up my sub correctly but when i turn it on there is a distorted constant thump which comes out. Im not sure if its the rem leads not being correctly wired or not?

i think All the Remote lead does is act as an on off switch to turn the amp on so i doubt its that, might be your aux leads

So, it just 'pops' when you switch it on? does it still do it if yo switch it on with the volume on the head unit all the way down and / or muted?

yea it still makes the 'pop' noices even if the volume is muted or off. i have no idea what this could be. aux lead does have a thin red wire connected with it which i havent wired yet as i dont know what that is.

some aux leads have a remote lead attached to them, but its best to use a separate one.

Check all your connections carefully, make sure all your contact points are clean, and make sure that the wires are making good contact and are not frayed.

Where are your leads running down the car?

it does it with mine aswell pal .. iv had a 1000watt and now i have a 2000 watt n it does the same on em both.
