Hey all, im really sorry I know this has prob been posted before but its been a long nite, curry club in Weatherspoons has taken its toll!!

Anyway, I have a 2003 C and are very impressed with the bright white lights that are available these days, especially the 8000k lights that appear slightly blue. I wouldn't mind getting a set, but wouldn'y know where to begin.

Now bear in mind the only previous mods I have done are change the air intake, tint the windows and de-badge, where should I start? Can you buy one of these cheap kits from eBay or do you need new lights or what, are they easy to fit and could they be changed quickly so as to not affect my insurance?

Any help would be really appreciated, thankyou.

You need the facelift projector lights for HID's I think. Do you know if your car is a facelift (53 reg onwards) or prefacelift?

A lot of people buy them from here http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/hid-products.html

As for fitting there's a tutorial on here that shows you how to do it, but you will have to take the front bumper off! Shouldn't affect insurance either.
