I think I read somewhere on the forum about the front fog lights dash board bulb needing to be activated through Tech 2. Is this true? My design never came with fog lights so I added them myself. Will the bulb to show they are on be in the dash board already?

As far as I''m aware you don't need it activating.

I've just fitted front fog lights on my Combo van, the wiring loom behind the bumper was already in place, however I did have to fit a replacement light switch and also had to remove the dash and fit a bulb as VX don't put one in the cluster. BTW I somehow managed to do this without removing the steering wheel, I've not idea how I managed and I've heard people say it can't be done, but I managed it somehow!

Anyway, at the moment if I press the foglight switch my dash light comes on but the foglights don't, but thats because I've not fitted the relay yet, as soon as the relay is in they should work as far as I'm aware.

Oh right. I've done all the foglight stuff and had them working for ages now. Just wondered about the bulb. Thanks.

No you just need to take the instrument cluster out and fit a bulb. It's actually a legal requirement to have a "tell tale" within the car to let you know when your fog lights are on. if you get pulled by the rozzers and they are in a bad mood they could do you for it, I couldn't tell you what the penalty is however.

Any ideas which bulb it is that needs to be fitted? Where does it fit in?

the the dials out and look at it with the light behind, you'll see where it is supposed to go :)
