Mounting sub in wheel well

hu's mounted their sub in their spare wheel well??

i'v searched but cnt find anything as it always leaves out the word sub :-S

anyways...yer pics would be gd and info on how it was done, seem slike a gd idea to maximise boot space.

i think pip had his in the tyre well,but im not sure.

You would need to make a fibreglass mould of it,or build a wooden cylinder shape to fit inside.

my mate had this done proffesionally, paid top dollar, the made a fibre glass mould of the well, then built up from there it ended really good, short easy way would be to make yourself a false floor cut ya sub hole over ya wheels well and screw it in, dont think it would sound great though?

Don't do that. It won't work.

Fibreglassing it would be pretty easy to do yourself if you are able to fibreglass. Otherwise an octagonal box would probably be the easiest alternative.
