not nescesserily mean that you need another sub, just that you need better quality subs, or more power... and no, not that i know of without taking the seats out.

are the subs in the right size boxes as that will play a part mate, I cannot see how 3 subs fit let alone in the right size enclosures

the maystars where origianaly in a normal twin box which i just chopped in half. the audiobahn was built into an inclosure i made fit in the wheel well.the amps are cranked up and none of the subs distort. just dont no if i need another power cap,or another sub.want it to make me ears bleed lol!.....only took 8 hours to fit quite proud

You could from what i can see in the pic re-build the parcell shelf and mouth on in the middle would only work to its protentional once the boot is closed as this would act as the box. I was think of it going in the middle of the shelf so you get a mirror image of the bottom one. With 6x9s on the side of it. Think you could safely say that you would be losing your boot then. Only problem you will then have is that you would have to relocate your amp which could be just as big a problem

oh and pluss i would need another amp if i did get another sub.hummmmm never really thought of that. oh well bigger power cap then.think i can squeeze one of them in.hay yours looks tidy.audiobahn is great isnt it.if i ever do this again its all audiobahn for me

agree mate

boots is usually full with 1 or 2 amps and 2 subs in correct sized boxes

check the specs of subs for what sized boxed you need!
Cramming 3 in may not give as good/loud sound as 2 in correct sized boxes

no offence mate but it looks like you have just put all of that in there with no care. Buy an amp that has 1400 rms and not max and then attach it to the audiobarn. Bin the maystars and build approx 2.5cu\ft box ported for the audiobarn. Then you will get a nice thump

AndyW
24-06-2005, 10:10
agreed - big ass ported boxes are the future ;)

u will have to c it and u will c how i have taken alot of time to get it in there, the picture does it no justice at all.i must admit it dont look good in the pic but does when viewed propaly.plus im on a budget and cant afford a good 1400rms amp. so this will have to do

Jason
24-06-2005, 12:42
i think james is right u have amps that are rated max..unlike RMS

why have u got subs of different makes too?

the maystar boxs are fine i think its the audiobahn sub that might not be right. i basicly sealed the wheel well up filled it with rock wool to stop the vibation and put the sub in.sounds great no distortion or anything. so i havnt needed to change anything.probably have to find out what the cubic air space of a wheel well is and go from there.they are different makes because i had taken my old system out of my calibra and couldnt find anymore of the same stuff, plus not got lots of money
