ALright people
Need some advice ......... looking to get a new headunit with usb connectivity and ive seen this

if Pioneer do USB connection i'd go with them.

ive got a sony head unit and love it it got usd and aux on the front, if you want to have steering wheel control you can get all the wiring from halford but you are look at bout £60

I'd say go with the top brands like Pioneer and Alpine. Their most recent ranges are pretty good at USB, much better to the older units.
steer clear of sony thay arnt all that and the sq is dire if your on a budget the kenwood kcd-w7041 is a nice sounding unit and has usb,aux in and does the display and controls with the autoleads pc99-x06 and pc99-ken-dis (pre can only) adapters are £35 quid off ebay
Best of all theres no hole in the front and a decent display and with the autoleads adapters it scrolls the data on the mfd

Autoleads pc99-x06 and pc99-pio if you want steering controls (and the hu supports it)
otherwise you dont need anything apart from swaping the red and yellow over
