hiya, im looking for a vibe active enclosure type thing, ive seen two that i like
one is the vibe space SQ12 (3000 Watt, 1000Wrms) for £250 and the Vibe twin CBR12 Evo2 (1100Wrms) for £350
for the money which is the best and is it worth paying the xtra £100 just for 100Wrms?

tbh i like em, cant find as good bass for the same money, at the min i have 2 alpine type S subs and an alpine MRD-301 360x1RMS amp sounds alrigth but my mates got a vibe 12" active and its loads better and paid less for it than i did for all my stuff

You mean this vibe? http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/vibe-sq12-p-4421.html
It's not active, it's passive, you'll need an amp.

I'd go with that definitely.
Checking the specs and that, and the active enclosure comes with a MonoBox II amp, which only gives out 600wrms at 2ohm (checked the sub is 2 ohm). May want to check the same for the cbr twin too.

I've never been able to find monobox 2 specs. In which case the amp is mismatched, but the Space12 sub is an all round good driver.
Yeah, i found it sumwhere, but vibe are changing their site and both them enclosures suggested use discontinued amps i think, making it harder to get the specs. Generally though, thr vibe active enclosures have amps under-powering the sub.
