So are you going to get rid of your iPhone/Phone and get this?
I dont think i will get it to be honest, due to the fact that i will not be using the 3G Feature. But they have cut the cost to which i think is right.

if u already got an iphone its free to upgrade the day it comens out all that u have to do is restart your 18month contract, i gonna do it cos its free and the phone itself is faster lol

i didnt sign up to the contract, i have unlocked my iphone, the only part i am going to upgrade on my iphone is the firmware 2.0, but i have got to wait until this gets unlocked

send it back to them then, i know bout 8 people with the iphone n none of them havew had any probs with it at all, plus the new one has got gps and is a compeltely free upgrade when it copmes out, beens as i only started my contract last month i am gonna do it cos it only means i will have had a 19 month contract so makes sense really for a brand new phone, sell the old one on the bay make some money lol

but i bought it from ebay so its unlocked and I won't be able to send it back.
and the chap I bought it off didnt respond to the email when asking him what to do :(

Also, my mate has one unlocked but his alarm and internet works but none of his music plays :/ lol

the music thing is a common problem and the phone needs reseting.

1. its got nothing "new". phones have had gps and 3g long before apple decided to do it
2. you cant buy it, from what ive read, the same way you could buy the first one. ie go to the shop, buy it without signing, then go home and jailbreak it.

theyll make u sign a 18month contract in the store before u take it home, and i wouldnt pay for the ****ty £30 a month minimum contract that they come with.

just seen that on o2s website. just says coming soon, no mention of price. seeing as the pay monthly iphones are gonna be subsidised, im assuming that the payg version will be alot more. only reason i would buy it is if i could get the pay monthly one, and unlock it, which wont be possible without taking out the contract.
my point is, to get it without the contract, you have to buy the payg iphone, which will undoubtedly be more expensive for something which doesnt offer anything which hasnt already featured on phones before ie the n95

no1 nos the price its gonna be on payg yet, so i guess ill make up my mind on it after the price is revealed. atm i cant see the appeal

im a bit disappointed its not free to upgrade on the £35 tarrif that i'm on now :( Cant really complain at £99 though.. still thinking about it

i popped into apple yesterday and spoke to some guy, he said if u purchased an iphone on contract, you can go to o2 or carphone and pay 50 quid to get an upgrade which i think is not bad at all...

however since mines hacked, im gonna sell my iphone on ebay 2 weeks before launch and then buy the new 3g one.... i definatetly wanna buy the new 3g for the internet speed...anyway i was told there is only one camera on the bk and when you video call u turn the phone the other way which is quite a joke cause the whole point of video calling is so that u can see each other lol
