silly steering controls question

what will i need to make the steering wheel controls work with my Alpine CDE-9871R headunit, is it just this:

or will i need another wire aswell? also wheres the cheapest place to get it from?

you also need an alpine adaptor

yeah where would i plug the 3.5 mm jack in to? can anyone else confirm that this is all i need?
