Security code for vauxhall headunit

I have just taken out my original headunit from my corsa c and its asking for a security code. How can i get this?

It displays with 'SAFE' and i cant get past it...... how do i do this

You should have a card with the code on or something. if not you have to get it from Vauxhall. People say you have to pay, but I didn't pay for mine, I rang up the dealership my car was originally purchased from and they told me it over the phone for free, along with a few other codes for the car.

if its got a cd30 fitted then you would have to get the car plugged into tech2. this is because the late stereo's work through the engine management. What stereo did you have?
