What is the best format to burn as a VCD?

most compatible?
best quality?
I burnt one yesterday and the picture is there but the sound isn't? well it is, but you only hear short snips of it when you pause and play. any ideas?

Well when you choose the codec to encode, eg XviD for video, you choose the audio codec to be AC3. what encoder are you using? I use ImToo as it is pretty easy to choose a setup (although not the est quality way to go about it).

i was trying to use Nero8! Any chance you could give me a step by step guide on the imToo? from downlaoding from youtube to what i need to convert the file to? etc! would be much much appreciated!

well sounds like you have a codec problem try downloading ffdshow
