View Full Version : 18's on a C? Really?
Looking around on ebay and i've seen a set of wheel's i've been after for ages at a great price. Only issue is they are 18's. 100 et 42 fitment. So should be fine for a C? However, are they going to rub (not lowered) and will they actually look ok?
If anyone has any pictures of a C on 18's that would be fantastic.

Yes, 18s will fit on a c and look good, will be a pain in the ass lowering it though, they will rub a little anyway
18's and 19's have been done on a C

Scottish bird called Kirsty, she left the forum time ago. That car is one of the classic old ones, best modified corsa still in my eyes.

Na they all gone cos she had them in a library which i guess she deleted cos all links have gone. Only got that pic, unless the older members like me saved them.
want to see what rear goes on it

Na don't think so, was a variety of different parts put together. Was best flow of lines in a style imo. Thinking of going this route for mine for ages, just need the money.

Cheers for the advice here guys. Think im going to get these 18's then. They seem to look great on all other C's. Should be fine un-lowered aswel I reckon.

yea he got them of me, they only rubbed slightly on the passenger side front arch on my c
the titan chaos in 18s look lush, wish they still made them :(
Marc, you say they should fit fine with a 'small amount of work' But unfortunately for people like yourself, that includes taking the entire car apart screw by screw, replacing the engine for a boing 747 engine and putting it all back together again. Please define 'small amount of work' :lol:

it mite only be an inch but it does make alot of difference looks wise, it would take less than an hour 2 do all the arches, as ur car aint lowered it mite be ok without doing ant thing 2 the arches

IMO go 16" i have 17" and they look wel to big. 16" Slammed FTW

And I like that look aswel Ell Day, but I have 17's on mine at the mo and they dont look big enough. lol. Plus these wheels I have been looking for ages that arent made anymore, I have found only in 18's.

18's fit fine mate, ive just lowered mine 40mm at the back and i get no rubbing

dont put 18 on a c u will spoil it 17 r to big 2 get a set of 16
i got 18's lowered 20mm but guna lower it more, just need more arch work done, it not a massive amount of rubbin, as yours aint lowered the only rubbin ull have is on big bumps and if u turn rite on the passenger side, but dnt do it now i got coilovers,
TBF i had 18's on mine lowered on 60mm nova springs and i soon took them off!!
Not because of rubbing (because they didn't) but for the fact they just look to big!!!

Look daft imo, think a lower car with ncie 17's is much nicer than a corsa with 19's on stilts
18's look too big, need a decent kit to pull them off like the silver one posted first.
