well geordie pete, i just got mine lowered and the springs are pretty much settled now - they're 40mm back and 30mm front and i tried some 17's and they just to say fit...i couldn't get my fingers under the arches either so...thats about low as poss :p

I bought a corsa on monday night from Evans Halshaw VX garage in Cramlington so it should be arriving tomorrow, its a 3-door black 54 plate 1.3 16v CDTi SXi, but it will have my plates on (S33DY J) so I just thought i'd drop in and say hi.

I was referred to this site by Keith Gibson (black 1.0 litre lowered with angel eyes) but i couldnt find his username. (his plate is NA55VBK)

Just been validated and thought I would say hi, I bought my Corsa C 1.2i 16v SXi Irmy yesterday and get it on thursday after the garage have serviced it and touched the alloys up, etc....

Its my first petrol car lol, yes you read that right at the ripe old age of 27

I really cant wait lol, I decided on the smaller engine for economy and cheap insurance, tax etc... also I have just got my Class 2 licence 3 months ago and dont want to lose it with a more powerful car (6 points in 2 yrs and your outta there)

I am looking forward to getting some good ideas for modding and tuning it up abit!

You've got to love the MPG return that us Diesel drivers get. I've only had two cars prior to the Corsa 'C and they've been Diesel aswell :D They were old style diesel engine's so they never had any acceleration power through the gears, whereas in the Corsa, if i get a prick at the side of me at the light's, I can simply put my foot down in 2nd and watch the turbo kick in, and leave him 1/4 mile away

beats dan's 1.8 corsa which i was suprised at thought he would actually pull away but i pulled away from him, then in the corners its bye bye, he gets a bit upset about it tbh

the saxo is cheap and nasty and i love it....... good handling car too, especially on its lovely koni's.

Hey Im Stu, got my silver 03 SXi 4 months ago n jus decided 2 start moddin it up, got a few little things on at the mo, ordering a set of Kei Drift 5 alloys this week then Im goin to look at some colour coding then possibly an Irmscher kit. Let me know of any meets n I'l turn out to intro myself n hopefully learn a few new things.

i have fitted K&N next is the exhaust and then i am going to have alook at some different alloys as these are scuffed and it will be cheaper to get new ones,
