Hello there, lookin for a bit of help regarding the exhaust on my car.
I bought the car with this exhaust:
Exhaust (http://www.geocities.com/stu_ylt/P2080073.jpg)
The problem is I have no information about the exhaust from previous owner all I know is thats its made by irmscher.
I was wondering if anyone knows the name of the exhaust? how much it cost the previous owner? and why it only sounds like a standard exhaust and not have a big bore?
I like the style of the exhaust but i'm thinkin about changing it to one with a sportier sound not too loud though, but i dont want to change it then find out the one I had before was more expensive and better quality
cheers

its the irmscher split oval, style over sound with most irmscher products.
the twin round irmscher exhaust is louder.

If ya want noise... get a diesel
Transit van imitations as standard
the twin round irmscher exhaust is louder.
I disagree with you there rob, mine's louder (and deeper) than Clemy's and mine's the oval on a 1.0L!
stupac85,
The Irmscher exhaust is a deaqler fit option that'll cost you £285 if you are daft enough to pay it. It can be bought seperately or as part of a style kit. Performance is not what this is about.
The tone of it really does seem to be down to the car it is on, see my comment above to rob. If you want to increase the volume of your exhasut yet keep the expensive styling you have, change the mid section for a straight through pipe first. This will help out.
