Does anyone know if there are coilovers for the 1.3 cdti ? Or do I have to replace the springs and use the current shocks ?

Just found out that I can get KW coilovers for it. Been Quoted £593.99 for them including delivery.

Firstly does anyone know where I can get a better quote please ?

Secondly - whats the difference in the suspension between my car and every other suspension that makes it so damn expensive ?

desiels are a tad heavier, ive lowerd a 1.3 cdti on some jamex 40mm drop springs and once settled it was more like 60mm atleast..
oh and kw are gunna be expensive whereever you go mate.. i have a mate that is and authorised dealer and stockist of KW for jap cars, (sorry he cant get corsa ones for cheap lol) and a set for my twingo would cost £780 to him TRADE if he was to become a renault supplier...

I phoned a few companies about the coilovers and they say they wont work on the 1.3 diesel due to the different suspension setup ?? All the adverts for coilovers at for every other corsa c, but never the 1.3.

Found some at Rimstyle and spoke to them last week ( very helpful ) and they do a set that will work on mine for about £400 - £500 depending if I want the comfort adjustment as well as the ride height.

When I finally get round to getting the lowering kit, do I need to fit strut braces ?

Thanks

Don`t need them if you just cruise around, but if you start to up the speed they are excellent in corners, have them myself and won`t take them off.

I got AP coilovers... not got them fitted yet, but they cost £325 and are 1.3CDTi (and some 1.7CDTi) specific, fully adjustable

They rang me the next day with a date of delivery (about 2 weeks), and it arrived over a week before the date they gave me.

Some guy on this site has got them fitted to his car and says he has been impressed with them so far, he got them for £200ish which I thought was a bargain!! I sent him a pm about them to find out what he thought hence why I know.
