reason why im asking is because i looked it up on the internet and they reffered to it as track control wishbone, isit just another name for it?
Track rods and wishbones are two different things
The wishbone or LCA (lower control arm) are what the shocks are bolted to and the control arm/wishbones are connected to the body of the car.
The track rods are connected to the hubs and steer the car.
Sorry thought you meant track rods, back to your question control arms are the same thing as wishbones.

Cheers mate basicaly i have a problem with my steering as you mite of seen in a few other posts, when i rock the steering left to right when im stationery the wheel seems to click/knock like theres play somewhere, ive been told this is my track control arms. so are these what you have just called track rods?
The control arms dont really control the track. Corsa doesnt have a track control arm anyway, it has a wishbone. It has a pivot on it, so can't control the track (track rotates about the pivot).
