View Full Version : Strange noise Drivers side
Ive started to get a strange noise from my drivers side wheel something going round and when i speed up so does the noise almost like a grinding noise, ive checked what i can see and nothing seems out of place of leaking. Ive recently repaired the car after an impact on the left wheel, does anyone know hat it could be? Its quite loud, im getting no shudder from the brakes or wheel from it either.

Brake pads, little metal wear indicator on the pads that grind on the disc when they are low
Brakes were changed about 2000 miles ago loads of meat left on them

more than likely wheel barings mate, get them checked out by a mechanic and they will know easily.

yea wheel bearings then
i had this... i just got it repaired today. Its when you hit about 30mph, i slid into a kerb on slippery bend, and damaged pasenger side. Its your gearbox mounting, it needs checking and tightening up because when i had the impact it knockd my gearbox out of line and had a bolt missing and other loose.
I thought it was bearings or my driveshaft because therubber gaitor was hanging off, but driveshft really hasnt got anything to do with it, defo gearbox mounting.
