Only HD box had the HDMI port.

If you have a dvd player that has the HDMI port I think you can run sky through that.

As said the HD box is the only one with HDMI port.

And yes you could run sky through a HDMI DVD player but that wont affect the quality of the picture, that can only be as good as the connection between the sky box and the DVD player,

Your better connecting sky straight to the TV
