Since avin this blloday curtosy car, Ive relised my corsa seems to have lost a bit of Power.
Im just wondering, Could this be due to my Backbox, i herd as its a AUTO, the car depends on Back Power, True?

autos are slower than manuals
it might need servicin
Its is due a service, Would it make it quicker.
Ohh, and the curtosy car is an auto ;)

would do yeah clean the filter, change the oil yarda yarda yarda
your engine will pobably benifit from new oil and filters etc, i would just wait till after service and if its still feels lacking then start to worry
have a good service and maybe try that RedX stuff in ur fuel tank?
The loss of back pressure will have an effect on the engine. THe ecotek does not really gain performace from full through sytems as much as others. Sometimes, you can lose performance from this change.

when i had my corsa of my bro, i got some injecter cleaner and it made the car feel more nippier!!

it does make a difference - noticed that whilst i've got my old wheels back on this week

nick mate u have the same problem as me mate....just dont feel as quick as it used to be....and sorry 2 crush your hopes on the service but that wont make any difference to the speed. I thought it was that but didnt really help.

I knew the 17s would slow it down, Its not Speed im on about tho, Its Power, For example, Wen mine is in 3rd gear, at say 4thou revs, Its Flat, where as in this Curosy car Its still really Nippy, Flings your neck back abit.
-Mk, there both 1.2's aswell, But mines an SXI, and this is just a Corsa (Comfort) I fink, But it feeels ALOT quicker.
perhaps its the newer twinport engine in the curtisey car?
Could be, It dont say twinport on the bak tho :?
Thought it only came on higher modles :?

There have been slight 1.2 revisions over the years aswell so yours might be an older engine development
Mines an 04 plate :? (03 Modle) And my courtosy car is a 04 plate

But you'll still have a sub in your boot with nice big magnets? :lol: Sub probably weigh's as much as your rear bench

will be lighter than what it was though so maybe ill shave 1 second off my 1/4 mile time lol
I have a sub to mite be another reason.

my car felt alot faster when it was completely strippd with no seats sept the drivers 1, no spare wheel, no speakers n 15''s on it like

just strip it then you dont have to give out lifts or get super scrubbage when you pick your bird up n her fat mates tag along

my girlfrends mates are mostly fit but i get wrong for starin but the fat 1s always leave pizza slices or bite my headrests the beasts

Nick - SXI's, comforts, acitves, SRi's, Breeze.....whatever the model, there is absolutely nothing different with the engine! Only differences are in the trim: i.e. seats, dials, dash, gear knob etc.....and i know ur talkin about power....speed is linked to power! lol! For example....mine used to pull up a certain hill in 3rd no probs, but now each time i go up it i find myself having to change down into 2nd at the top!!! so irritating!!

less weight means theres less to pull so its gunna move faster
I dont want it to go faster, i want the POWER BACK! it feels like ive lost ALOT of Power from the Rear, Seem almost flat, unless i floor it, Witch aint good for the engine.

possible carbon build up in the engine. give it a good bit of welly down the motorway
