View Full Version : about sri alloys?
hi everyone.. my corsa has 1.2 engine and 80 hp... its wheels are 155/80/13
I will buy 185/55/15 wheels.. but now there is a cheaper altertanive for me...
nowadays the your sri alloys are started to be selling in turkey as tigra alloys.. and it(16inc tigra alloy, your sri) is cheaper than 15 inc alloys.. what do english people think about sri alloys? do you recommend me ? are they weight is much or little ?
If you mean alloys for the tigra are the same as the corsa c SRi ones, get them instead of the 15's.
thanks chris..
this is the link

the third one
''Theres lowered, stiffened suspension and 16-inch alloy wheels complete the mechanical menu. ''
and what u would tell me about this sentece?.. my suspension is the basic one .. after having sri alloys what I must do ? refixing the suspension or buy special sri suspensions :S
please helppp
no normal suspension is fine, as long as the alloys are 4 stud with 100 pcd and around 40-49 offset.
johnduffel what is yours wheels numbers.. thickness, diameter(16inc ?),
what is your engine horse power?
and last what is your maximum speed in miles or km
thanks..

what do you need to know all that for
sri alloys use 195/45/16 tyres and they fit all 4 stud corsa's!!!
exactly I don't think meftun is great at english tho, I was trying to explain that sri suspension is less comfy than std, and sri wheels are less comfy than 13s, but not sure if he got me.

thanks for explaning.. I made it is ok that the 195 45 16 tyres will fit to my car...
the the second fog in my brain about this tyre changing was that :
for example a strong man can hold up a heavy mass.. but a weak man cant do that..
so my engine is 1.2 not 1.4 or 1.8 etc.. so is this weak motor and the other parts of the car which is related with the system of turning and keeping the tyres is enough to go with 16 inc sri alloys...
thanks to john and other friends.. and sorry for my bad english..

I spoke to you about this when you added me on msn..
Your engine doesnt need to be a certain size for larger wheels.
