broke my wheel nut key

ne one know how to take the locking nut off without the key as ive broke mine.

Should be a little card with it on inside the black box.

If you find the number you can give it to Vauxhall and they will be able to order another at cost.

Go to vauxhall and see if they can try the ones from the forecourt cars and see if one fits and get the number from that.

There is only about 8 different numbers.

theres a nuber on the front of the box but at a guess thatll be the item numbers for the box
that is 8 numbers aswell

The number on the box is most likely the part number for locking wheel nuts but need the specific code.

Some locking wheel nuts has a spinning cover exactly to stop this as it's not just mechanics that could use those tools but thiefs as well.

you mite need to get them chissled off at a wheel shop takes about 20 mins, cost me £20 when i rounded off my actual locking nuts,

other option is get a slightly bigger key if you can find one and hammer it over the locking nut and turn

impact driver, big hammer and a range of sockets

failing that a welder and a nut

i rang vxl today they want £100 to take them out and replace them with a new set.
so if i go there i wont be able to drive back as they will have my arms and legs.
couldnt believe it robbing bath terds. im taken it to an independant garage in the morning they r gonna av a go for me.
vxl prices = how do they sleep at nite.

Pop in and ask them them on the spot if can try the locking keys from the sales cars.
Not to get the nuts off just to get the right number.
Always harder for them to say no in person.

its sorted now. took it into a independant garage and luckily a customer left his vxl locking nut key there so wiv a bit of persuation with the hammer they came out and they only charged me £30 so im quite happy bout that.
