Right cars in bodyshop in a week or so do I get my engine cover painted and if so is there anything under it that needs replacing like seals etc

what color you doin it??? or is it just silver n the words paintd over
would be same as out side, it's all dull and horrid at the minute, will be working on other things later like chrome bits

also id do the fuse box cover

Fuse and airbox lids should be silver too. Oh and FFS get rid of that bloody bonnet rest. You have bonnet lifters, and it looks blody stupid sat there.

i've done my engine cover in my clio in a custom flip paint i sorted myself. save yourself some pennies and do it yourself :D
how do you apply flip paint?

im planing to do mine in this carbon fibber transfer stuff, its not like the crappy stick on stuff! its desigin to go on any where and be head resitant, god knows how it acturly works. i found it on www.potn.com but i cant remeber where abouts mate.

as far as I can tell, so long as you only take the rocker cover off and not the cylinder head off you wont need to replace owt ;)

the stuff your on about is normally on ebay, and is a film that goes over the product. the carbon is like clingfilm on top of water, and then you dip the product into the water, it then gets covered in the carbon and you simply rub the edges off :)

going to do the dumb bit but what does the cylinder head look like
and I have plans for the engine just not yet, just though while the bodyshop where painting would be a good idea. Will only be cosmetic stuff as car "WILLL" be sold when the new one goes into production
stick on carbon why would get a proper carbon one if I was going to.
Yes Kash I will remove that when I get a moment :lol:
