View Full Version : Service, Aftermarket alloys on or off???
Hi, i'm gonna be putting my corsa in for a service in the next 2 weeks and i want to know whether it is ok to leave aftermarket alloys on it or not. The reason i ask is because theres a chance that having aftermarket alloys on the car may invalidate the warranty, just in case theres something wrong with the car that isn't covered in the service but is covered by the warranty if you get my meaning!! don't want to give vauxhall the chance to screw me over on a warranted part just coz i changed the wheels! coz you know they'll try!! anyone got advice on the subject??

course its ok mine went in for a service with wheels, bodykit blah blah n no1 said anythin
Cheers mate, you're a legend!! you know what what they can be like with sort of thing, anything to save a buck or 2!! cheers again!!
Only thing you have to worry about with alloys is how careful those pricks at vauxhall are with them.
When i first got mine i told the guy they were brand new and not a scratch on them, so to be careful with them. he gave me such a dirty look, the bastrd

for alloy protection sake rather than vaux being tits sake, stick standards on
take them off - stops them using it as an excuse in the future should you have any problems
might take em off then to be on the safe side, thanks for the advice all.

if your car is still in warrenty and the wheels are bigger than the standard alloys your warrenty will be effected so i would take them off! but if its over 3 years old i wouldnt wory.
Leave all your modifications on! Anything you change vauxhall won't check, eg if you got your brakes changed somewhere else then vauxhall won't touch them!
I have a full body kit and cream/black interior an mine is booked in for next month!
mine went in in all its glory 18's n all
i take mine off - mainly cause i don't trust any1 driving it on those ramps :x
Thanks for all the replies, in light of what you've said, i think i'll take them off. Cheers all!!!!
