K&N Air Filter

Has anyone got one of these:

If so, how does it affect performance? Does it go well with the C ?
Is it true that you do not need to tell insurance because it is just a replacement air filter?
Also would it make the exhaust louder?

They work well - I even noticed the difference in my 1 Litre. Doesnt affect fuel consumption too bad. And as it is inside the airbox no one will ever know so no need to tell insurance :)

Lol piece of piss mate. Its like four screws to remove top of airbox, swap filter - job done :D

I dont think so. I had an aftermarket exhaust on before I fitted it anyway so wouldn't be able to tell
