He got it, we arranged to meet before I went to India, we got a few pictures.

They were rushed, so excuse 'em.

Yes, the PP'ing is rushed.

Yes, I'm crap at panning, as they all came out blurry.

No, I didn't use Photoshop to make anything blurry.

And yes, my car IS that dirty.

Yes, no, no, no, no, yes.

how come your pics always look well dark/overcooked and cartoony?
that a setting on your cam or just the way you edit them?

Fusco looooooooves LightRoom :P

I think he has a couple of filters that create some funky effects as well though.

It's all in the editing. :)

I'll explain how I got these pictures.

Canon 400D with CPL on, set to AV, and then set up -2, 0, and +2 bracketing. Stuck camera on tripod, and hooked up remote on continuous shooting, and then took the three pictures.

Take those three photo's, loads 'em into Photomatix, and do some ever so slight HDR editing. Think it's about 60% effect, and 80% colour. I have the settings saved on the MacBook Pro, if anyone wants to know them all.

Then I load them in Lightroom, apply my aftermarket HDR preset I made, and voila, all done.

I sometimes have to tweak the settings a bit, to add some more fill light etc, but that's it really. No photoshop work, or special filters, or anything.

It's mainly up the black, up the contrast, up the vibrance, down the saturation, vignetting, and then bring down lights, and add some fill light. I also have clarity up too.

Granted, these one's don't look like HDR, but some of the Greatham Urbex one's too. But I'm not a fan of massive HDR, I process them, then remove the colour. That's just how I like 'em!
