Sony Camera help!

If you are a Sony whore, you can get the Sony A350
Also near that price there is the Canon 450D. There is the 400D which will be cheaper, however this is now a discontinued model, and IMO its worth paying the extra for the 450D.
A little bit cheaper there is the Nikon D60.

Pick of the bunch? I would go for the 450D personally - the kit lens has optical image stabilization that can react in 1/4000th of a second to any camera shake which is a big plus, many people also like the live view function which is useful for image compostion, and for use on a tripod. However, live view cannot be used on all shooting modes.
Also, Canon lenses are just quality.

personally, id save up that bit more and get an slr.
ive got the sony a200, its a great camera. you can do so much more with an slr.

i payed 300 for mine, worth every penny IMO

and the 400d is discontinued!!!!! shocking!!!
i was thinkin of getting one when i bought the a200.
