ok i thought buying a cable wud be easy, but do i want

cat 5
cat 5 e

or any of these?

i think i need cat5 e

can anyone shed any light pls :)

i need 10m btw, incase anyone finds a bargain!

i got a 10m one on ebay for about £5... didnt work for what i wanted it for... still got it tho

both will work, cat 5 e is just a newer version but for home use doesnt matter

CAT5 and CAT5e are the same pretty much, if you want to get technical CAT5e is backwards compatible with CAT5 devices and has a higher distance rating, meaning it can be used in longer lengths than CAT5. CAT5 is like 100-120 metres CAT5e is about 300+ Metres. Among other things!

I wouldnt bust ya balls over it
