The A200 does have a dust removal function, i would have thought it would do it on startup and/or shutdown?
There are a couple of guides around on how to do it yourself:

I know canon offer one free dust cleaning service for all Canon's, after that its £25 a time - thats a full strip down etc, i dont know if any other manufacturers offer a similar service, or if independants do it for a similar price.

Failing the dust removal, do it in Photoshop/Lightroom.

its a bit wierd tbh. i see it when i look through the viewfinder thing (please excuse me, im a complete novice when it comes to photography lol)
when i take a picture i cant see the dust, but ive cleaned it all and can only see it when i look through the camera.
ill get some equipment from town on monday and have a crack

Does it only show up when you look through the viewfinder then? If it doesnt show up on pictures at all, maybe you have dust on the mirror not the sensor?
