Laptop Help pleaseeeee

I have the Acer Aspire 6920G laptop, and it has a crazy touchpad on the left hand side for controlling volue and media players etc.
It was working fine and now it seems to have like frozen.
I can still use everything on the laptop.
I have rebooted and shut down many times but no luck
Any ideas on how to resolve this anyone?

Don't really want to do that.
Took me 3days to transfer all my stuff onto it

Yer i searched the Acer webby for the driver but cant find it

Drivers is probably most likely. Restore your computer back a day and see if it solves it.
