how often do you clean your car??

hi as you know i am looking to buy a corsa (thouch wood) when i pass my test at the end of the year.

i just wanted to know how often do you clean your car and what do you use as i have not got a clue where to start any feedback welcome

Weekly, its a brilliant cure to a hangover. takes me about 3 hours to wash chamois polish and buff. usually really dusty (a lot of lanes) from travel to work each day

Wash mine about once a week / every other week, general carwashin shampoo most the time ( tripplewax or autoglym car shampoo) rinse, wash, rinse leather, glass clean windows to get rid of streaks, occasionally polish, do a fair bit of time on the motorway so bug sponge and bug removing spray is always handy :)

i clean mine after work when ever it is hot enough. i would say go for zymol car wash its all natraul proucdcts and smells lush!!!!! then i used tutle wax wheel clean, turtle wax tyre shine, turtle wax back to black, bug and tar remover tutle wax brake dust barrier for the wheels and zymol poslish again alll natraul producst adn easy to use. i also use a turtle wax blade, and a metro synthetic chamios, and well every one alays comments on how clean and shinny my car is when im out. it looks like i has juts come of the fourcort in the nice weather!!

oh aye forgot to say, glym wheel cleaner and tyre shine ;) :) although looking at different tyre shine products as I keep getting overspray on the bodypanels

there is a product called turtle was platinum tyer dressing but that flick up your pannes when drivng uless you leave to dry for like a couple of days!!!! as will any tyre dressing product that you brush on!!! it does not last as long as a areosol either

and if im feelin rich i use auto glym.

wash it with car shampoo, shammy it, back to black it and tyer gel it :!:

I live on a busy street, almost impossible to wash your car on it, and our driveway is far too narrow to wash a car on, you have to fold the wing mirror in and park a few inches away to get out of the door lol

every week with a bucket, sponge and hot water. Then dry it with a leather. About twice a year it gets polished with meguiars

Do the outside every month (or 2) which explains no longer red paintwork but a slight pink / red colour :lol:

Use glass cleaner and do inside every other week though.

I wash my car about once a week I use meguires shampoo an then megs polish after that. It really works an ma car looks stunning but unfortunately it doesn't last long cas of the dodgy weather an all the salt water that comes off the sea!

Every other day and polishthe car twice a week. I give the inside a serious goin over once a week. If its slightly dirty just hover it whenever it needs it. Its always handy to carry this though when ur away from home.....
