USed to work for them pal!

besides that the lad who sold the car i got the engine from worked for them and had done an oil change on teh engine about a week before he flipped it over. note that the filter is dented and beaten up! (it now has either fram or mann filters on it)

As for the sound.. ive not heard a 4 cylinder motor sound as good as that does (did? its blow a piston atm) and yes mate, it did go some too!

theres the one on the side and on the top in that last pic, look dead thick compared to my knowledge of gaskets but it could be normal, i'm no expert haha

top gasket is the rocker cover gasket and its certainly a normal thickness pal, as is the exhaust manifold gasket that is on the side of the engine there.

different cars have different gaskets pal. Suffice to say the inlet and head gaskets are thinner on this engine but they are all certainly typical of the era that the engine was designed in

enjoy it!

no more styling as i dont think that any of the bodykits out there suit them (plus they are extra weight) and I think 130+bhp in a 800kg car is enough for now :D
