View Full Version : Ok So I've Tried DTM's, Now M3's.
So I bought some DTMS off pieeater and they come today. Got them all fitted think they look awesome. Only problem is the visabilty is side on my passenger side as my wind delfector covers half the mirror.
Only other cheap option I got is M3's?
Whats the visabilty like out of these?
How rare are SRi Reps?
need to ba an extra member to sell...

visibility in sri's is useless. Standard mirrors are the best.

Anyways the real question is, anyone know of any decent looking aftermarkets with fair visabilty?

For me it's practical over looks. But my car is standard, so standard mirrors look fine.

Yeah course, the DTMS we're just silly with my wind deflector thats all. Just wondered if the M3's are any better.

Sri mirrors have no visibilty compared to standard. I hated having to drive the sri's in my old job for that reason.
Personal preference I suppose :shrug:

i have m3's im quessing there similar in size to sri's and i thought the visibilty was quite good, not as good as standard tho but standards are alot bigger.
Just put my standards back on, they look massive compared to the DTM's. Now to get rid of them. :|

SRI's do the job fine for me!!
Come standard though, pricey if you buy on there own.

I got SRI reps on mine, the visibility is a bit rubbish, at least compared to standards.
Wouldn't swap them back though...just have to be more aware when changing lanes on motorways and that.
Where can I find SRi Reps and for how much?

I paid £35 for them from a lad on here. I guess I got lucky lol..didn't know they was so rare :P They don't stick out quite as much as SRI mirrors, but I prefer it like that...and not to much in, like M3 mirrors.

You could try PM that guy, he sold me them. He might know where they come from, as I've heard they come from a German company
Think im going to settle for M3's. SRi Reps are well rare. Once I sold these DTM's I will get some M3's. If Reps to come up then I'll get them and sell the M3's. Imo Wing Mirrors aint a big deal, but think they make a nice touch. As my rear is done and my front will be dont by X-mas. Apart from my bump-strips the side will then be done also.

Yea true, not a massive difference between M3's and SRI reps
The reps were a group buy from german ebay cant remember who organised it tho
